Vizi and Vision simplify and enhance productions
Created to offer high-quality LED binning and bright output, ADJ’s Vision Series video panels can be serviced from the front and rear. Built on the same frame to allow panels with different resolutions to be used together, each model comes with the same rigging bar but has four individual mini modules for quick and easy servicing. The moveable corner protects the corners when not connected. A full wall of panels can be easily installed courtesy of top and bottom magnets that connect the let go of the panels, before securely latching them on the rear.
With four LED modules per panel, the VS5 is a high-resolution video panel with a pixel pitch of 5.95mm and a configuration of a 3-in-1 RGB SMD2121 LED. Connections include PowerLock I/O and DataLock I/O – up to eight VS5 video panels can fit inside a VSFC8 flightcase and up to 20 Vision Series panels can be suspended vertically from a rigging bar.
The VS3 is a high-resolution video panel with a pixel pitch of 3.91mm with a configuration of a 3-in-1 RGB SMD2121 LED and a brightness of 1000 NITS. Like the VS5, the VS3 connections include PowerLock I/O and DataLock I/O. The VS3IP is a high-resolution video panel with a pixel pitch of 3.84mm with a configuration of a 3-in-1 RGB SMD1921 LED which can be temporarily used outdoors. The panel also features MOM (Memory on Module) technology and includes IP65 locking power I/O connections and locking RJ45 Ethernet I/O connections.
Joining ADJ’s Vizi Series of moving hard luminaires, the Vizi Beam 12RX can generate mid-air effects for stages and events courtesy of a sharp 2° beam angle. Featuring a reflector design to generate a high-intensity beam, the flagship beam model harnesses the power of a 260W Philips Platinum 12R LL lamp. Making for a visibly brighter and more intense beam, it outputs approximately 9,400 lumens and measures approximately 70,200 lux at 20m. In addition, the lamp has an extended lifespan of up to 6,000 hours. A collection of onboard beam-shaping tools allows for a vast variety of different looks, including a 24-facet circular prism, frost filter and CTO + CTB colour correction filters.
The fixture’s GOBO wheel is loaded with 16 static metal patterns for creating mid-air beam effects and a GOBO shake effect can be applied to any selected pattern to add an energetic motion to the beam output. Motorised focus control provides crisp GOBO patterns at any projection distance and blurs out projections when required to create more subtle effects. The 24-facet circular prism and six-facet linear option offer variable speed rotation that can be layered to create more beams when desired. Smooth 0–100% dimming is also provided together with variable speed strobing.
Measuring 350mm x 343.5mm x 565mm (LxWxH) and weighing 18kg, the compact model can quickly spin through its full 540° pan and 270° tilt range. Equipped with a pair of Omega brackets, portability is enhanced with two handles built into its base, together with large rubber feet. A large full colour LCD display, with four corresponding selection buttons, serves as an access point to a menu-driven interface that facilitates mode selection, DMX addressing and configuration of the fixture’s various operational attributes. With 14- or 16-channel DMX modes, the Vizi Beam 12RX supports the RDM protocol for remote DMX addressing and troubleshooting from an RDM-equipped console. Input and output connections are located on the rear of the unit’s base.
